Unscented Castle Soap
Sweet Everlasting & Chaga
This unscented castile soap bar was handcrafted in Annandale, N.J.
One day, I came across this beautiful plant that I hadn’t seen before.
So, of course I had to jump in the rabbit hole and explore more.
It Struck me odd that the season was at its end, and everything was dying.
Yet, here stood this plant with beautiful white flowers.
I needed to know what it was, and how it was used.
I quickly learned it was Rabbit Tobacco.
Otherwise known as Sweet Everlasting or Life Everlasting.
The Everlastings are a group of plants known for the survival of their flowers after the end of the growing season.
One of the most outstanding of the everlastings is Gnaphalium obtusifolium L., sweet everlasting, or Rabbit Tobacco.
Sweet Everlasting is well known to the Indian people and still carries the name Rabbit Tobacco as testimony to their idea of its place in the universe.
It is said that the Rabbit, while untangling himself from a thicket, first discovered the properties of this plant as a cure for cuts.
Thereby, making Sweet Everlasting the perfect infusion for my unscented castile soap!

A Dream Team of Ingredients
The Chaga mushroom alone has a bountiful cornucopia of health benefits.
Wild Chaga is a powerful adaptogen that increases the body’s resistance to stress, trauma, anxiety, and fatigue.*
Alternative practitioners , like myself, believe in the numerous benefits Chaga possesses.
lowers blood sugar,
reduces blood pressure,
slows the progression of cancer.
Chaga is rich in fiber and essential nutrients, including vitamin D, iron, magnesium, potassium, manganese, and calcium.
Chaga’s high melanin content has led some to believe that it can bolster the skin, thereby protecting it from sun damage, skin cancer, wrinkles, or aging.
Indigenous Siberians ground it down and added it to their stews and soups to boost endurance and stave off degenerative diseases.
In Eastern Europe, Chaga is traditionally used as a treatment for skin conditions like eczema and respiratory disorders like bronchitis.
It’s long-term human use, and cultural eastern European & Russian acceptance should awaken serious researchers to its potential as a reservoir of new medicines, and as a powerful preventive ally for protecting DNA. Paul Stamets
