James Dean’s Wild Flowers was painted in Bayonne New Jersey.
Many of these painting were visions for what were to come.
Have you ever heard the eyes are the windows to the soul? Well painting is the same. It’s a reflection of your thoughts.
I had no idea then that I would travel across the country in a BIG TOUR BUS, and see these Hills and Wild Flowers.
A year after making this painting I was at The James Dean Intersection thinking wow those wild flowers sure look familiar. 😉
No, this isn’t a replica of the intersection, but rather a melding of the scenes I was about to explore.
